Emily Chuang, M.S., CCC-SLP

Hello There!

My name is Emily, and I am a licensed speech-language pathologist in Massachusetts with clinical experience working in elementary schools, inpatient adult, and outpatient pediatric settings.

I have experience working with speech sound disorders, expressive and receptive language delays and disorders, voice disorders, fluency disorders, and more. I also work with Autistic and ADHD populations.

I am Taiwanese-American proficient in Mandarin Chinese, and have a passion for diversity, inclusion, and equity. I continually strive to practice cultural humility while providing neurodiversity-affirming therapy and trauma-informed therapy.

By founding Empowering Communication, LLC, I hope to promote access to in-person and tele-health speech and language services for children and adults in Massachusetts.

Currently, I serve clients in Lexington, Bedford, Newton, and Brookline MA.

Prior to creating my own practice,

I graduated from Northeastern University, where I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Speech Language Pathology. I worked up on the North Shore for a few years in the private practice setting.

I currently spend some time contracting with Reinbow Therapy to provide therapy to kids aged 3-6 in a farm setting. Here are some pictures of me in action, courtesy of Reinbow Therapy at Churchill Stables:

Outside of work,

I enjoy baking, playing games and spending time with my family and cats, Kiki and Mr. Bao.
